Job Summary
Provide pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery care for surgical patients in a PACU setting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Preferred / May Be Required
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association
- Other specialty-related certifications, including NIHSS and TNCC
Schedule
- Variable shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours
- Days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- No guarantee of hours or shift preference
- On-call 0–3 times per month
Compliance / Start Requirements
- Must apply for a Hawaii license upon acceptance if not already active
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required before contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start for employee health clearance on Friday
