RN - Med Surg
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Kennewick, Washington
- Specialty: Med surg
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Weekly hours: 36
- Call required
- Float required
- Weekend requirement: 2 weekend shifts in a 2-week pay period
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- EKG/Cardiac Monitoring
Skills / Experience
- EKG / cardiac monitoring
- Respiratory assessment and support
- Medication titration
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
Unit Details
- 16 private rooms
- Patient ratio: 1:4, with 1:3 accommodations for acuity
- Patient population: geriatric and adult
