Registered Nurse — Labor and Delivery

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- AWHONN
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
- Maternal - Newborn experience
Preferred Experience
- Charge experience
Unit Experience Needed
- Transition experience
- Postpartum experience
- Newborn experience
Unit Details
- Labor and delivery unit
- 8 labor beds, 2 triage beds, 2 ORs, and 1 recovery room bed
- Patient ratio: 1:1 to 2:1
- Typical procedures include laboring and vaginal delivery, C-sections, and care of newly delivered mothers and newborns
Schedule
- Every other weekend
Floating
- Mother/Baby
