Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Fullerton, California
16-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
EFM or AWHONN
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Unit Expectations

First-time travelers accepted
Must be open to weekends; may exceed every other weekend based on unit need
Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
May float to mother baby
Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager discretion

Compliance and Onboarding

RTO must be included at time of submission
Fit mask required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
Respirator clearance required for travel starts on or after 2/5/2024
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
Drug screen required within 12 months of start
Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
COVID vaccination documentation or declination may be required depending on submission timing
References required
