RN - Med Surg
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Los Alamos, New Mexico
- Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Weekend requirement: minimum of 4 per month
- Call: none
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Stepdown experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a stepdown unit
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Unit Details
- Specialty: Med/Surg Tele
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Mostly geriatric patients
- Patient ratio: 5:1
- 15 beds
Work Expectations
- Must be able to assist in other units as needed
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to work with limited resources
