RN - Med Surg

Overland Park, Kansas

Schedule

48 hours guaranteed preferred
3 shifts per week
At least every 3rd weekend

Unit Details

25-bed medical telemetry unit
Patient ratio: 4–5:1
Floating may be required to like units: Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, and Obs/Rehab
Basic medical-surgical procedures are performed on the unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Basic Dysrhythmia

Additional Information

Documentation system used on the unit: Meditech-EBCD
Required uniform: royal blue scrub tops with royal blue or black pants; grey, white, black, or royal blue undershirt
