Schedule

3 shifts per week
At least every 3rd weekend

Unit overview

Cardiovascular Care Unit
28 beds
Cares for acute cardiac patients, including cath lab patients, stroke patients, and other PCU overflow as needed
Patient ratio: 4–5:1
Floating may be required to like units: Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, Rehab

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Telemetry experience within the last year
1 year of telemetry experience
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CCU - Coronary Care experience

Skills and experience

Cardiac experience is preferred
Basic med tele procedures

Work environment

Techs staff the unit
Team-oriented culture with strong focus on safety, quality, and documentation compliance
