Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer

Job Overview

Specialty: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer
Location: Andalusia, Alabama
Employment type: Travel
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist with 2 years of experience
Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
ARDMS or RDCS
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Job Responsibilities

Provide diagnostic ultrasound services for inpatient and outpatient care under a radiologist and departmental protocols
Perform abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
Scan small parts, including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
Perform ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

Additional Notes

Candidate should be willing to take call
Echo tech experience is preferred, and training is available
