Operating Room

Job Overview

Travel/contract RN position in Fortuna, California
13-week assignment
Day shift: 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year

Health and Compliance Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
E-Verify attestation
Background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start, updated monthly
HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start, updated monthly
Education verification required
Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
Skills checklist, if applicable to the unit
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit mask record
Tdap within 10 years
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance documentation as required by policy

Additional Notes

Float policy acknowledgement required
Annual regulatory modules required
Winter bill rate increase applies from October 4, 2026 through February 27, 2027
