Surgical Technologist / Operating Room
Overview
- Travel assignment in Asheville, North Carolina
- Specialty area: Cardiovascular operating room
- Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications
- CVOR Technologist with 2 years of experience
- CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 or more completed travel assignments
- BLS certification
- CST certification
- Certified Surgical Technologist experience
Role Details
- Scrub role experience is required
- First assist experience is preferred but not required
- On-call shifts are assigned and rotated among staff
- May float if needed, though infrequently
Unit Environment
- 6 operating rooms
- Staffing includes 1 unit secretary, 1 charge nurse, 1 PCA, and 1 core tech
- Hospital provides scrubs
- Documentation system used on the unit is Cerner

- CABG
- Valve replacement
- VAD insertions
- TAVR
- VATS
- Lobectomy
- Pacemaker/AICD insertions
- Septal myectomy
- Ross procedure
- EVH
- IABP insertions
- Femoral cannulation
