Emergency Dept RN

Overview

Travel RN position in Martinsville, Virginia
36 guaranteed hours per week
1 opening
16-week contract
Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays

34 beds
Patient ratio: 1:5
Serves all ages

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
CPI
NIHSS
PALS

Schedule / Availability

Weekend hours: as needed/every other
Call requirements: as needed
Float requirements: as needed

Experience / Skills

Emergency Room experience

Common Diagnoses / Treatments

Chest Pain
CHF
COPD
Psych

Additional Notes

EHR: Medhost
Random drug screening is required on site
Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form must be completed
