RN NICU
Overview
- Travel assignment in Webster, Texas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit Details
- NICU
- 3rd NICU in Central Tower
- 42 beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- NRP
- Care for patients with PIV's, PICC's, UAC/UVC
- Safely care for patients 22 weeks gestation and above
- Demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infants
- NAS scoring
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETT, vents, jets, cooling, and surgical patients

- UAC/UVC placement
- Eye exams
- X-Rays
- Ultrasounds
- EEG
- EKG
- LPs
- Lab draws
- PICC placement
- Circumcisions
- Bedside surgical procedures
Floating
- Mother Baby, with responsibility limited to babies
Schedule
- Day shift: 4 weekends Saturday/Sunday
- Night shift: 5 weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Dress Code
- Royal Blue scrubs
