Progressive Care RN

Role Overview

Travel RN position in Progressive Care
1 opening
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend rotation; weekend shifts can be accommodated if needed
No call requirements
13-week contract

Unit Details

Medical Surgical department
17-bed unit
1:6 maximum patient ratio
Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience
Patient population is 18+ with most patients 65+

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PICC/CVC management
Med Surg experience

Additional Notes

This is a critical access hospital med-surg unit that provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services
The unit emphasizes teamwork
No surgeries are performed in the building
24-hour provider coverage is available
24-hour CT, X-Ray, and lab are available
