RN - Rapid Response

Overview

Travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas
6-week contract
48 hours per week
Unit: CCU Coronary Care Unit
26-bed unit
Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Critical Care Float (1 year of experience)
Critical Care Float experience within the last year
Rapid Response experience
Neuro ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

Prior Meditech experience
Prior experience traveling to large facility ICU units

Unit Details

Staffed by 13 RNs, 1 Charge Nurse, and 1 Patient Care Tech on both day and night shifts
Equipment includes balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia
Typical procedures include heart caths, central lines, medication drips, and cardioversion
