Job Summary

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process and following professional standards and state regulations.

Responsibilities

Completes nursing database and care plan, reports findings to physician.
Performs nursing procedures and interventions safely and efficiently.
Defuses anxious, hostile, or violent behavior early when possible.
Identifies patient learning needs and provides education.
Uses delegation appropriately.
Follows annual training and the nurse practice act.
