CT Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
- Unit: Radiology
- Building: Main Campus
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- CT Technologist (1 year of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT
- BLS
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
Preferred Qualifications
- CT
Unit Details
- 400-bed unit
- Average 180 CT exams per day
- 3 scanners
- Staffing: 2 techs per scanner during the day; total 3 techs overnight
- Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice
- Performs ED and IP only
- Procedures include routine CT exams for ED and IP patients, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
- Uses Meditech

- Charcoal grey required uniform
- The unit is ACR accredited in CT
- Joint Commission accredited
