MRI Tech
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Based in Radiology / Cardiology
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM
- Call required: rotating call once a week from 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM and 1 weekend every 4th week
- Float requirement: none
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist (2 years of experience)
- MRI Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (MR)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Critical Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
- Experience in a(n) Pediatric ER/ED setting
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS
- ARMRIT
- ARRT R
- MR Cardiac with/without Contrast, MR Cardiac with Stress with/without Contrast, MR Aortogram, MR Pulmonary, and MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff experience
- Chest and Myocardium experience
- Management/lead experience
- Radiation Safety
- CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, image post-processing, MIP, MRP, Perfusion, Peripheral MRA (Iliac, runoff), Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, and Surface Coils experience
Unit Details
- Average daily census: 50
- 15 visits per day
- 46 beds
- Patient diagnoses and special procedures: General studies, MSK, Body, Neuro, Breast, no cardiacs or anesthesia
- Special equipment: Siemens Aera 1.5T
- Unit systems: Pyxis and Visage PACS
- Unit orientation: 72 hours
