Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract assignment in Anchorage, Alaska
- 13 or 26 weeks
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
- First timers accepted
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- May float to like units if needed
- No on-call
- Block scheduling not accommodated
- Local candidates not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- Pending license accepted, but Alaska RN license must be in hand for auto offer
Unit / Setting
- L&D RN
- High Risk LD unit
- Unit includes OB Triage/Testing, LD/Antepartum, 10 OB Triage rooms, 10 LDR rooms, 3 OR suites, and 4 PACU rooms
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alaska
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP
- EFM
- AWHONN Intermediate
- AWHONN Advanced
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge experience preferred, or willing to train as charge

About
Anchorage is a unique city surrounded by 5,000-foot-high peaks in the south-central part of Alaska along the Cook Inlet, where abundant salmon and whales swim through.
