Operating Room Nurse
Location
- Selma, Alabama
Job Type
- Travel
- 40 hours per week
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Call required 7 days per month, including one weekend per month
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- 4 years of Operating Room experience
- Operating Room experience within the last year
- Experience in a hospital setting
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- Endoscopy experience
Preferred Experience
- ENT and GYN experience
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the operating room as part of the surgical team
- Assist with surgical cases, including scrubbing and assisting physicians
- Ensure supplies are available and cases remain timely
- Communicate with families
- Update physician preference cards
- Supervise personnel delivering patient care
