RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Role Overview

Travel RN in the Operating Room, Main building.
Unit staffing includes 1 RN / 1 CST per room, turnover staff, 1 charge RN, and 4:1 anesthesia coverage.
Floating is not required.
Scheduled for 3 call shifts (12 hours) every 4 weeks.
Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
CVOR (2 years of experience)
CVOR experience within the last year
ACLS
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair experience
Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) experience
Femoral-popliteal (Fem-Pop) bypass experience
Mitral valve replacement experience
Aortic valve replacement experience
Heart and valve replacement experience
Thoracic Surgery experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Trauma experience

Procedures include general, trauma, ortho, urology, GYN, XI robotic, plastics, neuro, and cardio/thoracic cases
Equipment includes XI Robot, advanced spine, and Mako joint robot
Documentation system: Meditech
Patient experience requirement: AIDET
Dress code: hospital-provided scrubs
