PT - Therapy

Assignment Overview

Travel assignment in Westfield, Massachusetts
1 opening
Day shift, Tuesday through Saturday
35 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend hours: every Saturday
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit / Setting

Medical Surg / ARU
Med/surg department
50-bed med surg hospital with a separate 15-bed ARU
Primarily works on med/surg and assists on ARU each Saturday

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
1 year of Physical Therapist experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of med surg experience

Additional Role Details

Covers med/surg Tuesday through Friday with occasional ARU assistance if slow
On Saturdays, splits time between ARU and med surg
Patient population is general medicine with a predominant geriatric population
Common diagnoses/treatments include general debility, cardiac, GI, respiratory, and general orthopedic conditions
EHR used: Cerner/Oracle product
