Neurodiagnostic Tech Level 1
Overview
- Location: Edison, New Jersey
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 5x8 hours
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- On call required
Role Summary
- Performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures with moderate supervision
- Provides technical assistance and training to students
- Completes documentation for departmental records and patient procedures
- Supports the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit
Patient Population
- EMU
- ICU
- Pediatric and adult patients
Required Qualifications
- EEG Technologist experience with at least 1 year of experience within the last year
- ABRET Certification (EEG)
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience in an outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems
- Associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent
