PCU RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in PCU
- Location: 4W St. Mark's, Floor 4W, Main building
- Unit has 34 beds
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule includes every other weekend; no call
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Utah
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH Certification
Unit Details
- Staffed with 3-4 RNs and 1-2 PCTs on day shift
- Staffed with 3-4 RNs and 1-2 PCTs on night shift
- Equipment includes cardiac monitors, telemetry, IV pumps, PCA’s, epidurals, high flow NC, Bi-Pap, and feeding tubes
- Typical procedure: feeding tube placement
- Floating areas: Med/Surg and IMCU
- Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
