Registered Nurse BMT/Oncology
Assignment Details
- Travel/contract role in Aurora, Colorado
- 13-week contract
- Rotating schedule
- 3x12 shifts: 7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00
- Weekend coverage required per unit needs
- On-call not required
- Floating required between BMT/Onc and CTU units
- May also float to sister facilities in the metro region based on facility needs
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant experience
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Chemotherapy administration experience
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ONS/ONCC
Unit Overview
- 51-bed unit
- Cares for patients with blood cancers receiving chemo/biotherapies and cellular therapies, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T
- Nurse-to-patient ratios are 3–4:1 and may flex based on staffing and unit needs
- Candidates should be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
