RN - OB/GYN
Overview
- Travel RN role in Hickory, North Carolina
- 13-week assignment
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 2 openings
- 8-bed unit
- Weekend hours as needed
- No call requirements
- Possible float as helping hands
- Must start on one of these orientation dates: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, or December 7, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OB/GYN experience
Preferred Qualifications
- LDRP experience
Unit Details
- Patient ratios follow AWHONN Standards
- EHR: Cerner
- Takes GYN patients as well
Facility Context
- 355-bed hospital
- Home to a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and Level 3 NICU
- Includes a 32-bed ED, 29-bed inpatient rehab, and 15-bed surgical suite & imaging
- South Campus includes an 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital
Travel Eligibility
- Candidates must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
