RN - Med/Surg (Adult) - Night Shift
Overview
- Contract RN role in a general Med/Surg unit.
- Night shift: 7pm–7am, three 12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend.
- Mainly adults with occasional pediatrics.
- Not a pediatric floor; do not submit Pedi-only RNs.
Unit / Setting
- General Med/Surg unit providing medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care.
- 25-bed critical access hospital.
- Rural setting in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in Vermont.
- 3 years of Med Surg experience.
- Med Surg experience within the last year.
- Experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- ACLS.
- Flu shot required, no exceptions.
Preferred
- Meditech experience.
Housing / Transportation
- Local housing resources are available, but housing is the traveler’s responsibility.
- Reliable personal transportation is essential; public transportation and rideshare are not available.
