RN Med Surg

Role

Travel RN on a Medical/Surgical unit

Location

Pulaski, Tennessee

Contract

13 weeks
36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekly orientation on Mondays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Float / Call

May be placed on call depending on census
May float to medical detox, ICU, OB, or ER
In ICU, may take low-level Med/Surg overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio

Unit Details

19-bed Medical/Surgical unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:5
Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients, with about 3–4 pediatric patients per year
