Level III NICU RN
Role Overview
- Travel/Contract RN assignment in Lubbock, Texas.
- Based in a children’s hospital with a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Unit is a Level IV NICU.
- Float between units is required.
- Block schedules are required.
- On-call is not required.
- Weekends are required: 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week period, with variable self-scheduling.
- Expected ratio: 1:2-4.
- 48 hours are approved.
- Contract length: 26 weeks.
- Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00-07:00.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience).
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year.
- BLS.
- NRP.
- ACLS.
- PALS.
- NURSYS verification for RNs.
Preferred
- At least Level III NICU experience.
Facility Notes
- Total staff beds: 181.
- Scrub color: RN navy; RRTs Galaxy Blue/Royal Blue.
- Parking is free in any unrestricted space.
