Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Eureka, California
- Start date: ASAP
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 6:00–16:00
- First-time travelers accepted
- Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
- Float required within scope to meet facility needs
- 20 visits/day
- Unit size: 11 rooms/beds
- Average daily census: 15–20
- Post partum preferred
- The unit cares for high-risk OB and a culturally diverse population
- RNs circulate on cesarean sections
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Post partum experience
Additional Notes
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days
- Travelers are first to float within their scope
