Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Riverside, California
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Unit Details

Labor and Delivery unit
11 labor beds, 4 ObEval, 2 OB PACU, and 2 ORs
Day shift staffing: 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech
Night shift staffing: 1 Charge, 10 Staff, 2 OB Tech
Patient ratio: 1 RN/2 patient, 1 RN/1 patient
Uses GE fetal monitoring

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN
Couplet Care
Post Partum experience

Preferred Qualifications

Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Transition Nurse/Baby Catching

Clinical Responsibilities

NST
Cervical exam
Managing labor
Titrating meds
McRoberts

Floating

Postpartum-Couplets

Schedule

Weekends and on-call may be required as needed
