Physical Therapist
Overview
- Contract role in Hot Springs, South Dakota
- 13-week assignment
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, Tuesday–Saturday
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in South Dakota
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapeutic care and rehabilitation services for assigned clients
- Develop, revise, and implement plans of care based on assessment, client needs, physician orders, and goals
- Perform or monitor treatments using physical agents such as heat, water, electricity, whirlpool baths, electrical muscle stimulation, and ultrasound
- Document skilled and medically necessary care accurately and on time
- Participate in quality management, required in-services, staff meetings, case conferences, business development meetings, and customer service programs
- Conduct PTA and Home Health Aide supervisory visits, and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides as applicable
