RN Orthopedic Surgery
Overview
- Travel RN role in Marquette, Michigan
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Night shift
- 1 opening
- Weekend requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks
- No call required
- Float scope: inpatient units
Unit / Setting
- 7th floor Neuro/Ortho/Peds
- 24-bed unit
- Trauma Level 2
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Patient population: all ages over 28 days
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Orthopedics experience within the last year
- 2 or more years of adult nursing experience
- Orthopedics (2 years of experience)
- Pediatrics experience
- Neurology experience
Preferred
- PALS
- 2+ Pediatrics experience
- Block scheduling, if possible
Clinical Focus
- Adults
- Pediatrics
- Trauma and post-op Ortho/Neuro
- General pediatric unit with 0-3 rooms on average
