ER RN
Overview
- Contract RN role in the Emergency Department in Mauston, Wisconsin.
- Weekender nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7pm-7am.
- 32 hours per week.
- Holiday coverage is required if the holiday falls on the weekend.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate nursing care for Emergency Department patients from pediatric to geriatric.
- Perform direct patient care, triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5-level process, documentation, patient assessment, treatment, medication administration, emergency resuscitation, IV fluids, blood and blood products, and crisis response.
- Collaborate with providers, peers, ancillary departments, and outside agencies.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, checklists, stocked rooms, and support educational experiences for pre-hospital emergency providers and students.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
Preferred Qualifications
- Four-year degree.
- ATCN.
