RN - Newborn Nursery

- Travel RN role in Newborn Nursery
- Start: ASAP
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 7a-7p

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Nursery (2 years of experience)
- Nursery experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Role Details
- Provides care to Newborn Nursery patients during the immediate neonatal phase and newborn care
- Responsible for shift accountability
- Uses the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
- Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care
- Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
