RN - Rapid Response

Overview

Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
6-week assignment
48 hours per week
Start: rapid response, 5-7 days from offer
No RTO or special scheduling

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
Rapid Response experience
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TNCC

Preferred

ENPC
Compassion
Empathy

Unit Details

Emergency Department
30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
77 staff members
Patient ratio: 1:4
Floating area: N/A

Clinical / Unit Notes

Typical procedures: NIH, IV/blood draws, Moderate Sedation, TNK, Cardiac monitoring
Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, portable EKG machine
EMR: Meditech
Dress code: royal blue
Weekends: every other weekend
