Renal Med-Surg RN
Overview
- Contract RN role in Zanesville, Ohio
- Unit: 21-bed Renal/Medical-Surgical unit
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirement
- Start dates are limited unless the RN is a returning traveler within 9 months
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Renal experience strongly preferred
Clinical Scope
- Cares for adult patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions
- Float scope includes similar Med-Surg units, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
