Physical Therapy IP
Overview
- Travel assignment in Manchester, New Hampshire
- Inpatient Physical Therapy unit
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- Shift start time is flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, with shifts ending between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- Weekend shifts are self-selected, with 1 weekend shift per month in addition to full-time hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire
- Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Vestibular experience
Unit Details
- 330-bed hospital
- Typical patient load is about 10 patients per 8-hour day
- Basic rehab equipment is used, including portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
- Documentation system: Sunrise Allscripts
- Procedures performed: evaluations and treatment
Float Scope
- Covers all inpatient units and the ED
- Does not cover NICU patients
Additional Notes
- Acute care experience is needed
- The unit sees higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
- Daily patient assignments are designed to keep each therapist on 1-2 floors
- The team is described as dedicated and collaborative with experience in multiple settings
