RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel RN role in Emergency Nursing
Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 4 weeks
Call: none
Float: none
Unit has 22 beds
Patient ratios: 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 critical, 6:1 fast track

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

Trauma experience
Pediatric experience

Unit Details

Patient population includes traumas, STEMIs, psych, cardiac, GI, stroke, and all ages
EHR: Cerner

Additional Notes

Orientation dates listed for 2026: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 23, December 7, December 21
Candidates must live 60 miles or greater away to be considered travel
