Med Surg RN

Role Overview

Travel RN assignment in Med Surg on 3 West.
13-week contract.
Day shift: 7a to 7p.
36 hours per week.

Unit Details

34-bed mixed med-surg unit.
Patient ratio: 1:6.
Floating: all Med-surg units in house.
On-call: twice per contract.
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule, every other week; for nights, weekends are Friday and Saturday nights.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Utah
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
BLS
NIHSS
Basic Arrhythmia

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Charge experience

Common Procedures

Foley insertion
Central line dressing changes

Additional Notes

Best fit: flexible and organized.
