RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

Travel RN assignment in the Emergency Department
13 weeks
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
No call required
4 weekend shifts per schedule
23 beds
Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
CPI
TNCC

Preferred Qualifications

2 years ED experience
ENPC instead of PALS

Unit Details

Staffed by 40
Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
Midshift staffing includes 4 RN
Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC, 5 RN, 1 Paramedic, and 1 PCT
Typical procedures include Cardioversion, TNK, and Moderate Sedation
Equipment includes Welch Allyn and GE
EMR: Meditech
