OBU/L&D RN
Overview
- Contract assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona.
- 12-hour day shift; must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Returning traveler posting.
Role details
- Registered Nurse needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, and babies rooming in with moms.
- Average volume: 40 deliveries per month and 6 C-sections per month.
- May occasionally cover as charge nurse after charge nurse training.
- Travelers may occasionally float to other departments where they are qualified to work, including patient care or task-oriented support such as answering call lights and phones.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Arizona.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.
- Experience working with OB patients.
- Experience working with Neonate patients.
- Inpatient setting experience.
- Post Partum experience.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
- BLS.
- NRP.
- AWHONN or RNC-EFM.
