Med Surg RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Roswell, New Mexico
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Nights, 7p-7:30a
Every other weekend required
Floating required; may occasionally float to ICU to take MS Overflow or Step Down patients
No call required
36 beds in the unit
Patient ratio: 1:6, sometimes 1:7
Scope includes general Med Surg, some post op ortho, and general surgery

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Mexico
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS
Fingerprints required for all NM travelers

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Additional Notes

Scrubs: Royal Blue
EMR: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System
1 week max RTO approved
48-hour guarantees may be accommodated
Block schedule may be accommodated if the same days every week are not required
