Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (3 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS
Role Summary
- Patient assessment, including interviewing and examining patients, bedside checks, and evaluating lung capacity
- Treatment administration, including aerosolized medications, chest physiotherapy, and airway maintenance
- Ventilator management for patients in intensive care or needing life support
- Emergency response, including intubation and CPR as part of rapid response teams
- Diagnostic testing, including blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
- Patient education on managing chronic lung conditions and using home medical equipment
