RN PCU
Overview
- Travel RN role in Asheville, North Carolina
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Unit
- 40-bed cardiac stepdown/progressive care unit in the Owen Heart Center (Heart Tower), 5th floor
- Floating may include MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding
- Every other weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac Stepdown (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac Stepdown experience within the last year
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Stepdown experience
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications (nitroglycerine, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutrex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex/Lasix)
- BLS
- ACLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prostacyclins such as Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin
- Relief charge experience
