RN - Med Surg
Overview
- Travel RN position in Marquette, Michigan
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Shift: 7p–7a
- Weekend hours: rotating
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- Local candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered travel
Unit and setting
- Acute Medical/Surgical department on the 6th floor
- Trauma Level 2
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Patient ratio: 5:1 to 6:1
- Float scope: occasional to “like” unit
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- 2 years of Med Surg experience
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred qualifications
- BSN
- Experience on a medical/surgical unit
Additional details
- Equipment includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, and Dynamaps
- Required education: Bachelor’s degree
- Scrub color: Galaxy Blue; Navy is also acceptable
