RN Emergency Dept
Role
- Travel RN in the Emergency Dept
- Specialty: ER
- Shift: 7A-7P
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48
- Call coverage needed 24/7
- One opening
Unit / Patient Population
- 17-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- About 40 visits a day
- Primarily adults and geriatrics
- Facility is a regional health center with 217 licensed beds
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS
- TNCC
- Iowa SING BG clearance, including criminal and child abuse portions
- All county and state background checks fully cleared before start
- Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult
- 10-panel drug screen including opiates
- Titers from the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
Preferred
- Travel experience
- Similar size experience
Additional Notes
- 36 or 48 hour guarantee can be accommodated
- Monday or Tuesday starts allowed
- Housing options are available on positions at additional cost
