Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Kodiak, Alaska
Shift: 3x12 Variable
Start date: ASAP
Contract length: 26 weeks
First timers accepted
Weekend work required
Floating within scope may be required
Block scheduling is not available
Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Pending license is not accepted
Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks
Traveler may be called off for 1 twelve-hour shift per 2 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Alaska
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Charting system: Epic
Parking is free
Housing is provided during the assignment; housing units are typically 1-bedroom apartments
Housing is typically available from 72 hours before contract start until 24 hours after contract end
Pets are not allowed
Housing is typically sized for the traveler only; additional family members require approval
Housing must be cleaned at departure or additional cleaning fees may apply
