**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Float Pool RN Travelers!** **Job Description:** - **Assignment Duration:** 16-26 weeks - **End Date:** 11/15/2026 - **Renewal Start Date:** 11/27/2026 - **Renewal End Date:** Ideally 03/07/2028 - **Position:** RN for ICU Float Pool - **Floating Required:** Yes (travelers float first) - **Units:** Within Central Pool ICU - **Flexibility:** Must be adaptable with scheduling and willing to float to areas outside of the candidate's POD - **Patient Care:** Float to units of like skill and ability, ED Boarders, and possible surge areas - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Minimum of every other weekend - Schedule may be adjusted to meet unit needs - **Scrubs:** Any solid color - **Requirements:** - AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS required - CCRN preferred; NIHSS must be completed prior to start - Prior travel experience required - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Experience in a large (500+ bed count) teaching facility required - Hemodynamic device experience preferred - Typical patient population: Post-cardiac surgery, vascular, trauma-level 1 general surgery, neurosurgery, overflow MICU - EPIC experience from within the past 2 years is REQUIRED - **Additional Information:** - No block schedules for any reason - Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays - Employment gaps over 90 days must be explained - Complete work history information required (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) - **Transportation Note:** - Public transportation is NOT accessible in this area - Reliable personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended - Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during the months of November - April **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
