Cardiac and Stepdown RN
Overview
- Travel RN role in Marquette, Michigan
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- 3 openings currently
- Every other weekend
- Call only if census is low
- Candidate must live 60 miles or more away to be considered travel
Unit and setting
- Cardiac IMCU
- Medical Surgical Telemetry cost center
- 36 beds
- Trauma Level 2
- Patient mix includes cardiac, trauma, and stepdown/PCU populations
- Telemetry monitoring used
Required qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Experience with cardiac monitoring
- Experience with cardiac drips
- Experience with chest tubes
- Telemetry experience
Preferred
- PCU/stepdown patient populations
- Low level ICU skills
Additional notes
- Float required
- Teamwork is a must
- Blue or navy scrubs
- No blue jeans
