Pediatrics RN
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in Lubbock, Texas
- 16-week contract
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 hours per week
- Floating between units is required
- On-call is required based on unit census
- Weekends are required: 5 shifts in a 6-week period
- Block scheduling is not required
- Expected patient ratio: 1:3–5
- 48 hours are not approved
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Pediatric Med Surg experience within the last year
- Pediatric Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Pediatrics experience
- NURSYS verification required for all RNs
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- PALS required
- NRP required
- Education verification required
- 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application required and must include at least the last 5 years of employment
- Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
- Fit mask required for travel starts
- RespSafety clearance required for travel starts
- Negative TB or chest X-ray required
- Tdap required within 10 years
- Drug screen required within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination is preferred to have on file
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Background check required
- EPLS/GSA/SAM required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG required within 30 days of start
- Washington State Patrol search is required for Washington and border facility placements
- Float policy acknowledgement required
